Winnie the Pooh Isn’t The Only One That Needs Honey

Welcome to Day 16 of the Will Proverbs Change Your Life? Reading Series. Today’s reading is Proverbs chapter 16.

Today’s favorite verse in Proverbs chapter 16 is…

Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the mind and healing to the body. (Proverbs 16:24 AMP)

This scripture sums up one of the main missions for this site. Resilient Artist is here to soothe and heal your mind and body.

Genuinely speak some pleasant words to someone today.

Tart words make no friends; a spoonful or honey will catch more flies than a gallon of vinegar. – Benjamin Franklin

You should also speak pleasant words to yourself.

Nine-tenths of education is encouragement. – Anatole France

Educate yourself about your own greatness.

Affirm your beauty

Affirm your brilliance

Affirm your joyous life

You have breath in you— That’s a BLESSING!

That buzzing noise means something. Now, the only reason for making a buzzing noise that I know of is because you are… a bee! And the only reason for being a bee is to make honey. And the only reason for making honey is so I can eat it. – Winnie the Pooh

Just in case you have psychological bees stinging you whenever you grasp for your honeycomb I’ll help you out.

Every breath that you take is a sign that you are worthy!

You are beautiful!

When people say your name they speak forth joy, GREATNESS, wisdom, and LOVE!

You are more than a conqueror. Romans 8:37

Remember Isaiah 55:11

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

I’m gonna have my honeycomb, share it , and eat it too!

I am reading The Richest Man Who Ever Lived: King Solomon’s Secrets to Success, Wealth, and Happiness.   Mr. Scott reveals several breakthrough strategies to achieve a life of success.  One of these strategies he recommends that you read a chapter from Proverbs a day. For your reading schedule, he recommends that each day you read the chapter that matches the current day of the month. So for August 1st you would read Proverbs Chapter 1.

August marks my third month on this reading plan and it’s amazing how fun and enlightening reading Proverbs can be.

This month I will share my favorite verse for the Proverbs chapter of the day along with a video clip, picture, etc.

Check out other days of the Proverbs Reading Series.

*NOTE: One strategy that I use on this reading plan is that if I miss a day, oh well. You can read whatever chapters missed the next month on the corresponding day. Just read the chapter that matches the day of the month. That way it doesn’t become a chore and you can stay present.
